The Harris Wilson I, being one of the most popular, is positioned at Pointe des Régates in the south-east of Mauritius. On spacious boat, embark on a journey of discovery of a number of islets, the majestic waterfalls, and the famous Ile aux Cerfs.
The story of Harris Wilson I:
Authentic 18m racing catamaranBuilt in 1994 to participate in the famous "Route du Rhum", a yacht race across the Atlantic, from Saint Malo to Guadeloupe, the aim was to promote the Harris Wilson sportswear. Croisières Australes got hold of the catamaran in 1998 and converted it into a day charter catamaran. Marc Pinta in La Rochelle, France carried out the structural works and GRNW BoatYard focused on the deck/cabin installation.
The success story of Harris Wilson in Mauritius pushed Croisières Australes to acquire a second similar catamaran, the Harris Wilson 2, launched in 2003.
